Why Bamboo ?
Bamboo poles are not only an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional materials, they represent a genuine revolution:
The exceptional combination of lightness, flexibility, resistance and natural aesthetics make these poles much more than just a simple accessory for gliding and walking enthusiasts!
What's more, the possibility of customisation adds a unique dimension, transforming each pair of sticks into an individual expression.

Story
"Creating and making things with your own hands gives you a great sense of achievement".
I've always wanted to make my own equipment. I'd been wanting to buy bamboo poles for a while, but I thought they were too expensive! So I started looking on the internet for poles that I could modify myself. I came across Calcutta canes, a bamboo with the very solid and flexible properties I was looking for.
For my first pair, I simply bought some classic stakes. I then sawed the poles, added threaded metal rods and red baskets at the end.
I also fitted them with bicycle handles, because they were originally intended for ski touring, my favourite form of skiing, and so didn't have straps. That's how I made my first pair of bamboo poles!"
